Hello!

My name is Ally Rider, and I am thrilled to be working with you and your student this year. Although this is my first year at Hazelwood, it is my fifth year of teaching. I have experience in first grade, third grade, and K-5 math intervention and enrichment.

My husband and I are originally from Omaha, NE, but we relocated to the Clarksville area in January. I graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, concentrating in inclusive practices, in 2019. I also hold a master’s degree in Elementary Education with a focus on curriculum and instruction, which I earned in 2022.

When I am not teaching I enjoy working out, traveling and spending time with my husband, our dog Finn and cat Atlas. I look forward to a fantastic year working together. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
