Hello! My name is Melissa Holloway, and I am excited to be part of the Hazelwood Elementary family. I have been an educator for 30 years, including the past 8 years as a STAR teacher. I am passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels welcomed, encouraged, and inspired to succeed. Our classroom is a Busy Hive, where students work together, support one another, and grow academically and personally. I believe every child has unique strengths, and I strive to build confidence, foster a love of learning, and help each student reach their full potential. Outside of school, I am the proud mother of three children and grandmother of five grandchildren. I value strong partnerships with families and believe open communication is key to student success. I encourage parents to reach out anytime with questions or concerns as we work together to make this a wonderful school year.
