I am honored to serve the students, parents, and faculty of Hazelwood Elementary. This school year will begin my 23rd year with the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Prior to my coming to Hazelwood, I taught Kindergarten, Fourth, Fifth, and Sixth grades and served as a K-12 Academic Coach. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood and a Master's Degree as a Reading Specialist from Austin Peay State University. I completed my K-12 Administrator certification through Bethel University. I have been married to my husband Rodney for 35 years, who retired from the Army 7 years ago, after 28 years of active duty service. We have two children, Nick and Haley, who are proud CMCSS graduates. In my free time, you will most likely find me playing with our two furbabies, out on the lake, or reading a good book. I love being a Hazelwood star, where the stars are always shining!
